Abstract
Abstract An optical connector having a tubular housing (1) and a cover (2) formed with at least one hole (10) through which an optical fiber cable (8) extends. The cover (2) is formed with a slot (11) extending from its outer periphery to the hole (10). This facilitates connection work.

An optical connector comprising a tubular housing ( 1 ) and a cover (2) coupled with said housing for covering one end of said housing, said cover being formed with at least one hole (10) through which an optical fiber cable (8) having a lug attached to one end thereof passes, characterised in that said cover (2) is formed with at least one slot (11) extending from the outer periphery to the cover to said hole (10).
