Abstract
Abstract In a digital control device, a message sentence is indicated on the screen of a display unit, and a plurality of menu sentences suitably corresponding to the message sentence are indicated. A plurality of menu switches corresponding to the menu sentences, and a plurality of data switches for inputting data corresponding to the message sentence or menu sentences are provided, and an operator operates it by setting the data for a question by the sequentially indicated message sentences, or by responding to the selected menu.

(1) A numerical control apparatus characterized by a display device for displaying a message sentence and also a plurality of menu sentences corresponding to said message sentence at any time, a plurality of menu switches disposed to correspond to said menu sentences, and a plurality of data switches for entering data corresponding to said message sentence or said menu sentences, said apparatus being operated by successively answering questions from the message sentences displayed on a picture face of said display device.
