Abstract

Abstract The two-part safety helmet (11) completely surrounds the head and has a window which can be closed, if appropriate, by means of a transparent cover, the two parts of which helmet are connected to each other, on the one hand, in an articulated manner by means of a hinge and, on the other hand, can be fixedly connected to each other by means of closure elements. The separation line (14) between the two helmet parts (12, 13) in the rear region (15) of the helmet (11) lies in a preferably curved plane X-X which starts from the lower edge (16) of the helmet behind the vertical main plane in the transverse direction (17) and passes through a point (18) which lies between the region around the rear apex (19) and the upper apex (20) of the helmet. <IMAGE>
