Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 64 words
A laundry additive bleach product comprising: (a) a substrate in the form of a nonparticulate solid article having disposed thereon, (b) a urea adduct of an organic peroxyacid compound having the formula: wherein R is a linear alkylene group of from 4 to 16 carbon atoms and Y is hydrogen, halogen or a radical selected from wherein M is hydrogen, alkali metal or ammonium.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 64 words
A laundry additive bleach product comprising: (a) a substrate in the form of a nonparticulate solid article having disposed thereon, (b) a urea adduct of an organic peroxyacid compound having the formula: wherein R is a linear alkylene group of from 4 to 16 carbon atoms and Y is hydrogen, halogen or a radical selected from wherein M is hydrogen, alkali metal or ammonium.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 19 words
.2. The article of Claim 1 wherein the organic peroxyacid compound comprises from 20% to 25% of the adduct.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 30 words
The article of either one of Claims 1 and 2 wherein the substrate is water-insoluble and possesses sufficient structural integrity such that it does not disintegrate during the laundering process.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 21 words
The article of any one of Claims 1-3 wherein R is from 7 to 12 carbon atoms and M is hydrogen.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 21 words
The article of any one of Claims 1-4 wherein the weight ratio of adduct to substrate is from 3:1 to 12:1.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 33 words
The article of any one of Claims 1-5 wherein the article has disposed thereon a surfactant, in admixture with the adduct, in an amount of from 0.5% to 5% of the said adduct.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 26 words
The article of any one of Claims 1-6 containing from 0.1 grams to 2.5 grams of available oxygen and wherein the surfactant, if present, is anionic.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 19 words
The article of any one of Claims 1-7 wherein the peroxyacid is peroxydodecanoic acid, diperoxydodecanedioic acid or mixtures thereof.
Claim 10
Independent Claim 71 words
A method of manufacturing a laundry additive product in accordance with any one of Claims 6-8, comprising the steps of: (a) forming a slurry of a urea adduct of a peroxyacid compound in an aqueous surfactant mixture which contains from 0.5% to 5% of a surfactant based on weight of adduct; (b) applying the slurry of (a) to a nonparticulate substrate; and (c) removing substantially all of the water by evaporation.
