Abstract 1. Endoprosthesis for replacing a bone part (14) no longer pivotable in an unusable bearing of a bone (12), having at least one bearing head (1) fixed to one end of a shank (2), characterized in that the bearing head (1) is constructed as a saddle (6), which is located in a depression (7) between two saddle projections or horns (4, 5) bounding it.
