Method and apparatus for determining the time constant of the rotor of a field orientated induction machine
Abstract
A field-oriented induction machine (1) usually contains an actuator (5) for the stator current, a flux simulation device (11) which, to determine a model angle ϕM for the direction of a simulated flow, operating data (stator current i) of the induction machine and a parameter (T) for the rotor time constant, a control circuit (7) which determines the setpoints for the stator current actuator from setpoints i * ϕ1 i * ϕ2 for the field-forming (parallel to the flux) and torque-forming (field-perpendicular) components of the stator current, and a measuring element (18) for detection the speed (n) or the torque ṅ = . According to the invention, a disturbance variable (K) is applied on the one hand to the setpoint i * ϕ1 of the one current component and on the other hand, together with a measured operating variable, a computing element (21) which determines the correlation over time of the operating variable and the disturbance variable. The operating variable, for example the rotational acceleration, is selected such that it is not dependent on the disturbed setpoint if the field is properly oriented. If the rotor time constant is incorrectly set, the arithmetic circuit (21) determines a correlation variable between the operating variable and the disturbance variable. The parameter of the runtime time constant is adjusted according to the correlation size until the correlation size is practically zero. Then there is field-oriented operation in which the flow direction determined from the parameter value coincides with the true flow direction.
