Abstract Translated from German Zink-2-merkaptopyridin-N-oxid läßt sich leicht filtrieren und auswaschen und mit diesem Stoff hergestellte wäßrige Suspensionen bleiben lange stabil, wenn die Fällung des Zink-2-merkaptopyridin-N-oxids aus wäßrigen Lösungen des entsprechenden Natriumsalzes durch Zugabe von wasserlöslichen Zinksalzen im Temperaturbereich von 35 - 100°C in Gegenwart wasserlöslicher oder teilweise wasserlöslicher organischer Lösungsmittel erfolgt. Zinc-2-mercaptopyridine-N-oxide can be easily filtered and washed out, and aqueous suspensions prepared with this substance remain stable for a long time if the precipitation of zinc-2-mercaptopyridine-N-oxide from aqueous solutions of the corresponding sodium salt by adding water-soluble zinc salts in the temperature range of 35-100 ° C in the presence of water-soluble or partially water-soluble organic solvents.
