Abstract Translated from German Farbstoffe der Formel <IMAGE> in der Hal Chlor oder Brom, X Wasserstoff, Hydroxyphenyl oder Alkoxyphenyl, n 1 oder 2, oder, wenn X Hydroxy- oder Alkoxyphenyl ist, auch 0 und die Reste R¹, R², R³ und R<4> unabhängig voneinander gegebenenfalls durch Alkoxy substituiertes Alkyl und R¹ und R³ auch Wasserstoff bedeuten. Die Farbstoffe sind sehr farbstark und sind hervorragend zum Färben und Bedrucken von mit Wasser mischbaren Quellmitteln gequollener Cellulose oder Cellulsoe enthaltendem Fasermaterial geeignet. Dyes of the formula <IMAGE> in which Hal is chlorine or bromine, X is hydrogen, hydroxyphenyl or alkoxyphenyl, n is 1 or 2, or, if X is hydroxy- or alkoxyphenyl, is also 0 and the radicals R¹, R², R³ and R <4> independently of one another optionally substituted by alkoxy alkyl and R¹ and R³ also mean hydrogen. The dyes are very strong in color and are outstandingly suitable for dyeing and printing water-miscible swelling agents containing cellulose or fiber material containing cellulose.
