A pressure-fixable toner comprising a pigment and a binder medium, said binder medium comprising, based on the total weight of the binder medium, 20 to 50% by weight of a wax having a penetration of less than 5; 7 to 24% by weight of a styrene type resin or hydrogenated styrene resin and 37 to 73% by weight of a tough thermoplastic resin containing an amide or ester group at a concentration of 50 to 1200 milliequivalents per 100 g of the resin.
