Abstract Translated from German In einer Walzwerks-Adjustage für Stabmaterial werden im Anschluß an ein Kühlbett Vereinfachungen im Arbeitsfluß dadurch erzielt, daß dede vom Kühlbett abgetragene Stabgruppe in der Vorwärtsbewegung kontinuierlich mehradrig gerichtet, auf einer fliegenden Schere geschnitten und unter Querbewegung durch eine Aushebe- und Bremsvorrichtung zur Ruhelage abgebremst wird, wobei eine im Abstand folgende Stabgruppe während der Bremszeit der vorhergehenden Stabgruppe in Aushebeposition gelangt. Die zur Ruhe gekommene Stabgruppe wird dann zum Sammeln oder Stapeln quergefördert.
