Compact universal large-scale filter system of the unit contruction system for the cleaning of air
Abstract
Abstract A self-sealing, exchangeable, large-area filter insert (1) for receiving frames, provided with bent-off flanges on one or both sides, for installation in walls, ceilings or the like. The receiving frame has a grid network serving as support and is provided on one or both sides with outer bent-off flanges serving for stiffening, for receiving an exchangeable packet-like filter insert provided with two drawing loops (10) and folded on both sides. The filter insert has a U-shaped grid network bandage (6) which runs around the outside and has a yielding fleecy nonwoven (7, 8) stuck to both sides thereof, in such a way that the filter insert can be pushed into the receiving frame, making a seal, and fixed and is held in the working position by cross springs consisting of wire, so that it can be exposed to the airstream from both sides. The filter insert is designed as a self- sealing, compact disposable part and is an effective large-area filter which can be inexpensively mass-produced in a simple manner, without cost-intensive materials for frames, fittings and seals or even cost- intensive contact pressure means being necessary. <IMAGE>
