Abstract
Abstract An invalid chair (30) comprises a seat (3) mounted on No cantilever members (8) which can be placed over a bed. Side supports (9, 10) and a back support (11) are collapsible to facilitate transfer of a patient between a bed and the chair. The height of the seat (3) is adjustable, by means of an hydraulic ram (33).
