Abstract
Abstract To drive the rotating platform (4) in an industrial robot, an electric motor with a cycloid gear is arranged on a spring-loaded swinging arm (6) of the rotating platform (4). The cycloid gear (9) drives a pinion (5) which engages with a stationary toothed ring (2). In this arrangement, springs press the pinion (5) into engagement with the toothed ring (2), the depth of engagement being adjustable via a threaded bolt (11). The pinion (5) carries carrier bolts arranged in the form of a ring which engage in carrier holes arranged in the form of a ring on the two cam discs of the cycloid gear (9). <IMAGE>
