Abstract

A process for the production of polyamines based on polyethers containing urethane groups and containing polymers and / or copolymers of unsaturated monomers and optionally urea and / or biuret and / or allophanate groups is described. In the first stage, the NCO groups of NCO prepolymers are exposed a polyalkylene ether polyols with a molecular weight of 1000 to 10,000 (preferably 2000 to 6000), which 1 to 60 wt .-% (preferably 5 to 50 wt .-%) of graft (co) polymers of unsaturated monomers (preferably acrylonitrile, styrene , Methacrylsäurealkylester), further optionally β additionally low molecular chain extenders and y excess molar amounts of organic polyisocyanates (preferably aromatic polyisocyanates with differently reactive NCO groups) in aqueous alkaline solution at 0 to 40 ° and a slight excess of alkali to the carbamates. In the second stage, the polyamine is released by adding an equivalent or excess amount of an acidic ion exchanger with elimination of C0 2 and finally the resulting polymer-polyetherpolyamine is isolated. Furthermore, the corresponding urethane-containing polymer-polyetherpolyamines based on polyalkylene ether radicals with a molecular weight of 1000 to 10,000, a graft (co) polymer content of 0.65 to 59.3% by weight and a content of 0, 11 to 2.9. % By weight of terminal NH 2 groups which are bonded to the polyalkylene ethers via the residues of organic polyisocyanates by urethane groups. Likewise their use as a structural component of polyurethanes.
