Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a rack insert for holding electronic plug- in racks. The rearside of this rack insert forms a cassette (4) in which is accommodated the wiring card (5) with the plug connectors (6) for the electronic plug-in racks arranged in the insert. At the same time, this wiring card, for the screening of which the cassette is used, carries central circuit units supplying the plug-in racks. By this means, it is achieved that the connecting lines from the central circuit units to the plug-in racks are as short as possible, something which must be ensured particularly at very high frequencies and bit rates (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
