Abstract

Multi-mode broadband microwave source capable of operating in two different frequency bands. Two independent multi-mode sources each operating in one of the frequency bands (I - S) are mechanically coupled by realizing the source in high band inside the obstacle (17I) constituting the plane moder E of the source in the low band, so that the polarization planes of the two sources are orthogonal; a transparent low band lens (21) extends the Rayleigh zone of the high band source to the interior of the Fraunhoffer zone of the low band source. Low site tracking radar antennas.
