Device for displaying information in an image

Abstract

Abstract A device for displaying information in a graphical representation comprises a projector (30) making it possible to present on a screen (14) an image of a figure, for example a diagram, recorded on a carrier film (44). A liquid crystal display matrix (24) is inserted between the projector and the screen (14) and preferably side by side with the latter. Signals for controlling the matrix make it possible to show up a mark (92) in the matrix whose umbra (94) on the screen (14) appears superimposed on the projected figure. The position of this mark relative to the said figure and/or its shape or aspect correspond to information which it is desired to display. This information may vary in time under the control of the display signals. Images of several diagrams may be recorded on the film (44). <IMAGE>
