Composition with sustained release of nitroglycerine, and method of preparing it

Abstract Translated from German Es werden Präparate mit verzögerter Freisetzung von Nitroglycerin bei tropischer Anwendung auf der Haut sowie Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Präparate beschrieben. Diese Präparate enthalten ein Gemisch aus Nitroglycerin und einem wasserunlöslichen Vinylpyrrolidon-Copolymerisat oder vernetztem Vinylpyrrolidon-Homopolymerisat sowie gegebenenfalls Trägerstoffe. Preparations with delayed release of nitroglycerin when used tropically on the skin and methods for producing these preparations are described. These preparations contain a mixture of nitroglycerin and a water-insoluble vinylpyrrolidone copolymer or crosslinked vinylpyrrolidone homopolymer and, if appropriate, carriers.
