Device for heating metallic medicinal tools
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a device for heating metallic medical, in particular dental, tools and/or accessory appliances. In this device, which can be designed as a table-top unit, an intrinsically safe and protected coil (L) for generating an electromagnetic alternating field forms, together with the space (A) surrounded by it and open on both sides, a receiving space for the medical instrument which is to be heated inductively. The coil housing (H) is attached to a spherical hollow body (K), which bears slidably on a hollow cylindrical base (Z); the spherical body (K) is articulated pivotally on a stirrup (B), which is mounted slideably in two opposite-facing recesses (U) in the upper area of the base (Z). The spherical hollow body (K) at the same time contains the alternating current generator and a warm-air fan (W). <IMAGE>
