Abstract

The present invention relates to an aqueous microemulsion of fluorocarbons, indefinitely stable at a given temperature. This microemulsions consists of: 1) an aqueous medium, 2) a fluorocarbon; 3) a single fluorinated non-ionic surfactant, said surfactant having a cloud point at least 5 to 10 ° C below the stability temperature of the microemulsion when the aqueous medium consists of pure water. Application: oxygen carriers.
