Child's seat for motor vehicles
Abstract
Abstract Child seat (10) for motor vehicle, formed by a bent rigid shell (40) with projecting side portions (13). A material capable of absorbing energy (17) is arranged under a longitudinally adjustable padded element (18). The floor portion (162) is also adjustable in order to adapt the angle formed between that portion and the dorsal portion to the angle between the seat and the back of the vehicle, depending on whether the child seat is facing in the vehicle running direction or in the reverse direction. The seat is held by the vehicle belt (22) to a securing device. The material capable of absorbing energy (1) has a thinner portion (80) and the padded element (18) has a thicker portion (81) so that, according to the position of the padded element, the seat provides a surface that allows the child to lay down or to be seated.
