Abstract

The invention is intended to improve the evaluation reliability of the operating states of subscriber line circuits, without this requiring a considerably greater outlay than in known telecommunications systems in which a central evaluation device is available for several subscriber lines. According to the invention, this is achieved in that for monitoring the incentive state, the loop interruptions due to the choice and the triggering, and the loop closure as a result of a call, subscriber-specific evaluation devices OP1, OP2, each connected via separate voltage dividers R1 to R4, R6 to R12, and a plurality of supply resistors RS1 to RS7 are provided, which are activated depending on the type of monitoring to be carried out, the monitoring of the incentive state and the loop interruption being carried out with the same evaluation device, for which purpose the division ratio of the associated voltage divider when switching from one type of monitoring to the other as well as their connection points to certain feed resistors is changed. The entirety of the voltage dividers forms a structural unit together with the supply resistors.
