Claim 1
Independent Claim
227 words
A device and relevant complementary elements for the fixing and the suspension of furniture articles to wall wood coverings composed of side-by-side panels, in which a continuous slit is created between one panel and the fol lowing. This device is characterized by a block, substantial ly parallelepiped and made preferably of plastic material, extending vertically and presenting transversally a width sufficient to penetrate in the slit between two adjacent panels. This block presents in the rear part two opposing complanar wings, projecting toward the outside, intended to rest against the rear borders of the side-by-side panels; moreover, it presents in the front part a threaded hole for the engagement of a screw, above and below which two projections extend toward the front. Each complementary element, independently from its shape and main purpose, is characterized by having: a wall which presses against the external surface of the side-by-side panels under the tightening action of a blocking screw so as to vice, between itself and the rear wings of the device, the thickness of the panels, thus forming sort of a clamp which makes the coupling stable; by having two notches, or seats, suitable to receive the above-mentioned projections of the device itself, so as to create a coupling which hinders the relative rotation between the device and the complementary element, beside setting exactly the position of the latter.

Claim 3
Dependent Claim
84 words
A device as in claim 1, in which the complementary element is constituted by a single hanger, obtained from a suitably shaped metallic plate, presenting a wall lying against the wood panels, provided in the rear part of a vertical groove in which the projections of the device can penetrate, and a hole for the passage of a blocking screw, engaging with the threaded hole of such device: this screw constitutes the axial extension of a pin element forming a part of a hanger.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
181 words
A device as in claim 1, in which one of the complementary elements is constituted by a rectangular stirrup position ed in a horizontal plane, having the ends of the two arms completed by a crossbar forming a flat wall intended to rest against the external surfaces of the two side-by-side panels. This wall presents, on the upper and lower borders, corresponding notches intended to receive the front projections of the device and a turning stem positioned along the middle plane of the stirrup and supported between this wall and the end of the stirrup itself: this stem presents on the other side of the transversal wall a screw intended to engage in the threaded hole of the device, so that its rotation and its complete blocking with a screwdriver allow such transversal wall and the rear wings of the device to clamp, between them, the thickness of the panels. This complementary element shaped as a stirrup is intended to support a shelf composed of a wood panel from whose rear border a cavity capable of receiving such stirrup is opened.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
123 words
A device as in claim 1, in which the complementary element is composed of a part capable of supporting the shelf of a piece of furniture, and is constituted by a horizontal wall on which the shelf itself is intended to rest and by a vertical flat wall intended to rest against the external surfaces of the panels: this vertical wall presents, above and below, notches used to couple with the projections of the device and in the middle a hole for the passage of a blocking screw engaging with the threaded hole of the device itself. This element is also provided with an upris ing verical wall, penetrating in the cavity opening in the lower Dart of the shelf to be supported.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
37 words
A device as in claim 1, in which the threaded hole is represented by a metallic ring inserted in the plastic material of the device itself: this ring is so constrained that its axial slipping is prevented.
