Abstract
Abstract An electric micrometer comprises in its frame (17): a contacts type rotary encoder comprising a disk substrate (7), which has contacts pattern (8a, 8b) thereon, and a rotary brush holder (9), which holds rotary brush contacts (10a, 10b), the rotary brush holder (9) is at an end of a sleeve (4) so as to be rotated by rotation of spindle (1); The frame (17) also contains a count-and-control circuit (13) which counts output signal of said rotary encoder and proceeds a predetermined control, and a digital indicator (14) which is disposed on a part of the frame (17) and indicates measured nummerals.
