Claim 3
Dependent Claim
53 words
An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized by said keyboard means 12 further including means for inputting a user identification-code in said data storage means, said controller means further including means 46, 56, 82, for activating said data storage means after a predetermined time delay to supplement said aural message with said user-identification-code.
Claim 4
Independent Claim
47 words
An apparatus according to either of claims 1 or 2, characterized by said keyboard means including means 46, 56, 58, for inputting to said clock means 48 and to said display 12 signals indicative of an on-going time setting and at least one selected alarm time setting.
Claim 5
Independent Claim
55 words
An apparatus according to any of claims 1-3, further characterized by means 62 for receiving input signals indicative of at least one additional alarm condition, and by said controller means further comprising means 46, 56, responsive to said additional alarm condition signals for supplementing said aural message with information indicating the type of additional alarm.
Claim 6
Independent Claim
46 words
An apparatus according to any of claims 1-4, further characterized by means 86 for filtering said analog signal to eliminate high frequency components such as may be generated in the process of transforming said digitally preencoded messages into said analog signal, thus improving the intelligibility thereof.
Claim 7
Independent Claim
25 words
An apparatus according to any of claims 1-5, further characterized by means 30 for disabling said keyboard means to prevent unauthorized entry of input signals.
Claim 8
Independent Claim
44 words
An apparatus according to any of claims 1-6, characterized by said controller means comprising a microcomputer integrated circuit 44 including a central processor unit 46, a clock 48, a timer/event controller 52, a data memory 50, a program memory 56, and input/output ports 54.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
35 words
An apparatus according to claim 7, further characterized by standby power/supply means for maintaining power to said integrated circuit microprocessor in the event of failure of normal power, thereby preventing the loss of stored information.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim
