Catheter
Abstract
The catheter intended for puncturing blood vessels, in particular for venipuncture for hemodialysis, is designed in such a way that two individual catheters (11, 12), each of which can be connected to a hose line, are assigned to one another in a longitudinally movable manner via a longitudinal guide (13) and by means of the latter one Single catheter (12) can be pushed onto the other single catheter, the tips of the single catheters in the blood vessel of a subject pointing in the direction of flow of the blood in the application case and the tip (20) of the single catheter (11) serving for blood supply by a predetermined amount over the tip of the Single catheter (12) serving for blood extraction protrudes so that blood returned to a blood vessel via the catheter (11) does not reach the area of blood withdrawal via the single catheter (12) and the occurrence of pendulum blood is therefore eliminated.
