Abstract Translated from German Ein Kolbenbolzen, insbesondere für Brennkraftmaschinen, hat eine abriebfeste, harte Metalloberfläche aus einem dünnwandigen Mantelrohr (2) aus Metall von hoher Festigkeit und einen mit diesem fest verbundenen inneren Kern. Bei diesem Kolbenbolzen wird ein besonders niedriges Gewicht dadurch erzielt, daß der Kern (3) aus im wesentlichen in Längsrichtung unidirektionalem faserverstärkten Kunststoff besteht. A piston pin, especially for internal combustion engines, has an abrasion-resistant, hard metal surface made of a thin-walled jacket tube (2) made of metal of high strength and an inner core firmly connected to it. This piston pin has a particularly low weight in that the core (3) consists of fiber-reinforced plastic which is essentially unidirectional in the longitudinal direction.
