Turbocharger, particularly exhaust gas turbocharger for combustion engines
Abstract
Abstract Turbocharger, in particular exhaust-gas turbocharger for internal-combustion engines, with a turbine (8) mounted in a housing and an outflow channel (24) for carrying away the gases expanded in the turbine. In order to increase the pressure drop between the turbine inlet (12) and the turbine outlet and hence the power of the turbine, the bypass line which bypasses the turbine and is controlled by a blow-off valve opens into the outflow channel, the outlet of the said line being formed by at least one injector nozzle (16), with which the gases emerging from the turbine are accelerated in order to influence the power of the turbine. <IMAGE>
