Abstract
Abstract An interchangeable disc unit comprises a disc pack (6) which is accommodated in a square enclosure comprising two covers (9, 10) which can move relative to each other from a closed position and which are interconnected by separate connecting means (29) in said closed position, which connecting means are situated near the corners of the covers. (9, 10) Each of the connecting means (29) comprises a plurality of elastically pivotable fingers, (41) which extend away from the one cover (9), and which elastically press against an annular stop (40) on the other cover (10) in the closed position.

Claim 3
Dependent Claim
72 words
A disc unit as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that - within the fingers (41) there is arranged a locking member (46) which is axially movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, which locking member in the locked position cooperates with the fingers in order to lock said fingers in their connecting positions and which in the unlocked position allows the fingers (41) to pivot to their released positions.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
38 words
A disc unit as claimed in Claim 2, characterized in that there are provided resilient means (47) for loading the locking member (46) towards its locked position, thereby also resiliently loading the fingers (41) towards their connecting positions.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
55 words
A disc unit as claimed in Claim 3, characterized in that - the resilient means comprise a helically wound compression spring (47), - the locking member (46) is cup-shaped with a bottom (48) having a smaller diameter than the upper rim, and the compression spring presses on the bottom of the cup-shaped locking member (46).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
71 words
A disc unit as claimed in Claim 4, characterised in that - the bottom (48) of the cup-shaped locking member (46) has a central opening (49), and the respective connecting device (29) is provided with a guide member (50) for the locking member, which guide member is connected to the first cover (9) and has a free end (51) which extends through the central opening (49) of the locking member (46).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
29 words
A disc unit as claimed in Claim 5, characterized in that - the guide member (50) has an axial bore (52) which opens out of the free end (51).
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
58 words
A disc unit as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that - the first connecting means (39) comprise a component made of an elastic plastics and secured to the first cover (9) which component is integral with the pivotable connecting elements (41), and - the stop (40) on the second cover (10) is integral with the second cover.
