Abstract

Abstract A wide olefinic C 2 to C 10 stream is restructured over a special zeolite catalyst to form primarily C 4 to C 7 olefins, the C. to C 7 isoolefins are reacted with methanol over an acid catalyst to form high octane ethers, and unreacted olefins and methanol separated from the ether product are recycled to the olefin restructuring operation.
