Abstract Translated from German Bei einer Flüssigkristallzelle zur Darstellung alphanumerischer Zeichen und Symbole ist das dem Betrachter zugewandte Polarisationsfilter (6) bezüglich der Flüssigkristallzelle konvex gewölbt ausgebildet. Hierdurch wird in einfacher Weise eine Entspiegelung der Flüssigkeitszelle erreicht. In the case of a liquid crystal cell for representing alphanumeric characters and symbols, the polarization filter (6) facing the viewer is convexly curved with respect to the liquid crystal cell. An anti-reflective coating of the liquid cell is achieved in a simple manner.
