Abstract

Abstract A heating apparatus, or more particularly a heating-time displaying means (4) which is applicable for a heating apparatus with a programmable timer which is capable of controlling the sequence heating. The heating apparatus comprises a heating source (17) such as magnetron and/or heater for heating a product to be heated, output switching means (15) for switching the output of said heating source (17) into at least two steps, output setting means (2) for presetting the output specified by said output switching means (15), timer means for controlling the heating time, heating time setting means (3, 19) for presetting the heating time to said timer means, a memory for storing the output and heating time entered by said output setting means (2) and said heat time setting means (3, 19), display means (4) for displaying the entered output and heating time, and a main controller (11) for controlling said heating source and said memory and all of said means, and stage recall means (8,2) for recalling the heating pattern of a selected stage. The main controller (11) has a function of calculating the total heating time of sequence heating so that either the total heating time or the heating time of each stage is indicated on the display means (4) in accordance with a command from said stage recall means (8, 2).

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 206 words
A heating apparatus with a programmable timer comprising heating sources (17) for heating a product to be heated, output switching means (15) for switching the output of the heating sources (17) into at least two steps, output setting means (2) for selecting one of said step outputs, timer means for controlling the associated heating time, heating time setting means (3, 19) for setting, the heating time to said timer means, a memory means for storing the selected output and heating time, display means (4) for displaying the selected output and heating time, a main controller (11) for controlling said heating source and said memory means and all of said means, said main controller being capable of continuously storing in said memory the heating patterns of at least two stages that are selected by means of said output setting means (2) and said heating time setting means (3,.19)) of calculating the total heating time of the sequence heating that consists of more than two stages, and of:selectively-indicating on said display means either the total heating time or the. heating time of each stage, and said apparatus further comprising stage recall means(2, 8) for selecting one of said total heating time and said heating time of each stage.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 206 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 100 words
A heating apparatus with a programmable timer as claimed in claim 1, wherein while the heating pattern of the associated stage recalled by means of said stage recall means (2,.8) is indicated on said desplay means (4), if a new output and the corresponding heating time are effectively inputted by means of said output setting means (2) and said heating time setting means (3, 19), said main controller (11) correcting the contents of the stage corresponding to the heating pattern already stored in said memory and indicates again on said display means (4) the contents of the new heating pattern.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 110 words
A heating apparatus with a programmable timer as claimed in claim 1 further including a clear key (7) for clearing the contents of the programmed heating sequence in said memory, and wherein while the total heating time is indicated on said display means (4) an effective input of said clear key (7) causes said main controller (ll) to clear all the contents of the already programmed stages in said memory means and in a recall mode in which a heating pattern of a stage is displayed by means of said stage recall means (8), said main controller (11) clearing only the contents of the corresponding stage in said memory means.
