Abstract

The invention relates to a biopsy cannula for removal histological tissue samples from human or animal organism. It consists of a cannula (11), whose cutting edge (12) is sharpened at the front and on a Sample needle (1) can be moved over a distance that is at least corresponds to the length of a sample notch (2) behind the tip of the sample needle (1) is arranged and together with the cannula (11) a pocket for taking the tissue samples forms. The sample notch (2) of the sample needle (1) runs at the far end in a relatively large, from the Circumferential line to the bottom of the sample notch (2) Radius out and at its tip-near end is vertical ground in towards the sample needle axis.
