Abstract
Abstract A process for the preparation of polymers of olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acids in a form which is suitable as hydrophilic fillers by charging an inert pulverulent carrier with monomeric olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acids and, if desired, further ethylenically unsaturated monomers, with mixing, and polymerising the mixture, which is still flowable, on free-radical initiators.
