Il comprend au moins un élément continu souple 8 réparti tridimensionnellement de façon désordonnée dans un ensemble de particules solides (sable 6), de manière à contribuer à l'établissement d'une certaine cohésion entre les différentes parties de l'ensemble de particules en enlaçant ces parties. L'installation pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé de fabrication dudit matériau comprend: des moyens pour établir un courant de fluide (5) dans lequel sont introduits les particules solides et l'élément continu souple et des moyens pour séparer ledit fluide du mélange (10a), recueilli sur un support (10).
