Abstract

Abstract A parking apparatus in a three-wheeled vehicle having one front wheel (9) (209) and two rear wheels (20) (220), and a front body frame portion (2) (202) which is swingable relative to a rear body frame portion (3) (203), comprises a locking mechanism (31.41) (131,141) (246,254) provided between the front and rear body portions for locking these portions against relative swinging, a parking brake mechanism (46) (145,148) (246,254) operable in cooperation with a normal wheel brake, or independently thereof, and a common operating member (24) (224) for operating both the locking and parking brake mechanisms simultaneously. At the time of parking, by simple operation of a single member, the parking brake is applied and the front and rear body frame portions are locked against relative rotation.
