Abstract

With this opening device, a pouring opening which can be closed again after the first opening is preferably created in an end wall of a disposable packaging container. After a strip of web material loosely placed on the end wall is partially firmly connected to its surface, a pouring opening area is defined within the strip area connected to the end wall surface by a contour punching or contour weakening, which is held in its original position in the end wall on the basis of the punching or contour weakening process becomes. After the punching or contour weakening process, the second region of the web material strip, which is not already connected to the end wall, is folded back congruently by 180 ° over the first-mentioned strip region and the pouring opening region. By attaching connection zones in the second strip area, this is connected to a certain area of the end wall material inside the pouring opening and on the other side outside this opening and around it to the container end wall. This primarily creates a hermetically sealed opening device on the packaging container. The pouring opening is exposed by tearing open the second-mentioned strip area while simultaneously removing the pre-punched end wall material. After the desired quantity has been removed from the contents of the container, the second-mentioned strip area together with the end wall material adhering to it is folded back onto or into the pouring opening, whereby a snap engagement between the edges of the pre-punched end wall material and the opening edge again creates a mechanically non-hermetically closing one adhesive opening closure results.
