Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim
142 words
A process for making mineral fiber bodies in the form of running lengths, boards or mats, having fibers running, at least generally, vertically to the major faces, in the case of which a number of running lengths, boards or mats made up of fiber are placed one on top of each other with the fibers running generally parallel to the major faces and from this stack plates, made up of single strips, are cut normally with respect to the direction of fiber and are so turned over that their cut faces become the major faces of the mineral fiber bodies, characterized in that the plate (6a), made up of the cut off strips placed one on top of the other is, in each case, sucked on at its end face, tilted out of the plane of cutting and then transported on further.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
142 words

Claim 3
Dependent Claim
72 words
An apparatus for undertaking the process of claim 1 with a support table for taking up a stack of a number of running lengths, boards or mats of fibers and with a cutting system acting generally normally to the support face of the support table, characterized by a tilting suction unit (3), placed after the support table (1) and covered by one transport belt (5) which at least in part is air-permeable.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
33 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the driving system of the transport belt (5) is controlled by limit switches worked by the tilting motion of the suction unit (3).
