Thermal and sound isolating glass unit
Abstract
Abstract 1. Heat-insulating and sound attenuating glass unit having glass panes which are spaced apart and gaps between the panes which are sealed against the atmosphere and which contains as a filling gas, a gas mixture which contains, as constituents, fluoro-hydrocarbons or fluoro-chloro-hydrocarbons, characterised in that the filling gas consists of one of the following gas mixtures : 1. C2 F4 Cl2 + CF3 Cl in a ratio of 0 to 20 percent by volume to 80 to 100 percent by volume ; 2. Neon + CF3 Cl in a ratio of 0 to 30 percent by volume to 70 to 100 percent by volume ; 3a. C4 F8 , one or more other aliphatic fluoro-chloro-hydrocarbons, and neon, in a ratio of 0 to 30 percent by volume to 40 to 60 percent by volume to 20 to 30 percent by volume ; 3b. C4 F8 + neon in the ratio of 20 to 30 percent by volume to 70 to 80 percent by volume.
