Abstract
Abstract Control valves of this type are configured for the maximum possible loads and therefore require large amounts of electrical power and a large construction space. The novel control valve exhibits the features of the valve rod (8) having two valve discs (6, 7) which interact with two valve seats (17, 18) and, at the same time, are adjusted and open or close the valve seats (17, 18) and control the connection between the inlet (3) and outlet (9) of the exhaust gases. By this means, the electromagnetic actuating drive of the control valve can be kept to a minimum. <IMAGE>
