Operation microscope for computerised, stereo-tactile microsurgery - contains optical system data detectors, integral position detection system and process controller
Abstract
Abstract An operation microscope for computerised, stereo-tactile microsurgery combines intermediate images into at least one of the two stereo observation beam paths and contains optical system data detectors (15,16), a position detection system (17, 20-23) and a process controller (3). The optical position detection system is integrated into the microscope's optical system. An image processor (4) converts the signals from the process controller into a two-dimensional graphic representation made visible to the observer via a TV display. USE/ADVANTAGE - Enables field of view to be displayed exactly w.r.t. co-ordinate system and correlated with diagnostic data. Contains integral position detection system.
