Abstract
Abstract An electrical connector has a housing (3) with slots to receive a number of formed metal contact elements (1) with a crimped cable connection at one end and spring contacts at the other. The contacts are held in place within the housing by an interlock ring (4b) having projecting fingers (4c). The contact has projections (1a) that engage against a shoulder (3b) on an insert. ADVANTAGE - Exact separation of locked and unlocked position recognisable.
