Fixed bearing for a spindle which is installed in a housing and loaded in an axial direction
Abstract
Abstract A fixed bearing for a spindle (3) which is installed in a housing (2) and loaded in an axial direction consists of a rolling bearing (5) which transmits the radial forces of the spindle (3), an inclined rolling bearing (8) which absorbs the axial forces of the spindle (3) and has a radially freed outer ring (10) and, fixed therebetween in the housing (2), an intermediate ring (12). Installed in the intermediate ring (11) are compression springs (16) which adjust the outer ring (7) of the radial rolling bearing (5) in a playfree manner. A housing cover (18) covers the housing bore (1) to the outside. In order that the outer ring (10) of the inclined rolling bearing (8) is held without risk of an inclination on a shoulder surface (14) of the intermediate ring (11), at least one spring element (23) is installed between an outer end surface (22) of the outer ring (10) and an end surface (21), lying opposite this, of the housing cover (18). The spring element (23), which is flexible in the axial direction and the radial direction, engages both on the end surface (21) and on the outer end surface (22) opposite this and presses the outer ring (10) against the shoulder surface (14) of the intermediate ring (11) in a playfree manner. <IMAGE>
