Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a catheter for treating narrowing of vessels (21) with a flexible tube part (2) intended for insertion into the vascular system and ending in a head portion (3), and an expansion body (4) of variable diameter fitted on the head portion (3). A channel (7) for supply of a treatment liquid that dissolves the deposits forming the narrowing of the vessel (21) extends through the tube part (2), which ends in an opening (8) located beyond the expansion body (4) on the head portion (3) as viewed from the tube part (2). <IMAGE>
