Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a device with a generator and an electrode for high-frequency cutting and/or coagulating or for laser applications. In order to separate the application electrode from the conductive surface blood in an insulating manner the invention proposes that the electrode be surrounded by at least one jacket for guiding a non-conductive, pressurized gas or a non-conductive liquid. This results in a clearing effect on by-passes, which as a rule are disadvantageous, in the application area. Effective insulation of the electrode is thereby achieved for the first time.
