Abstract

Abstract In the case of a sun visor, in particular for vehicles having a sun-visor body (1) which is of relatively flat, plate-shaped construction, has an approximately rectangular contour and in one of its two main surfaces has a recess (7) in which there are arranged a mirror (9) and an illumination device which can be connected to the vehicle electrics, it is provided that the mirror (9) is part of a sheet-metal preform (8) and is formed in one piece with and of the same material as a reflector (10), at least one contact (12) for an electric light source (19), fastening elements (tabs 18) engaging in the sun-visor body (1) and fastening receptacles (22) for a luminous disc (23) which is composed of glass or a transparent plastic and covers the light source (19), and that the mirror (9) or the sheet-metal preform (8) bears at least one second contact (15) in an arrangement which is insulated with respect to the sheet-metal material. <IMAGE>
