Obstetric apparatus
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to an obstetric apparatus having an incision device for endoscopic withdrawal of blood, in which an incision blade is arranged at the distal end of a rod-shaped holder. In order to simplify considerably handling thereof and to reduce greatly the time which elapses between incision and withdrawal of blood, a blood contact element is fastened on the rod-shaped holder with the incision blade. As a result the incision and the withdrawal of blood can take place virtually simultaneously without changing the instrument. In addition, the obstetrician can observe the process better than hitherto through an amnioscope, so that the process is easier to control. There is the additional possibility of controlling the depth of incision.
