Abstract
Abstract A jaw implant having a bore to accommodate a replacement tooth holder, which has a screw head and a lower portion provided with a screw thread. The screw head is configured and proportioned such that the portion provided for embedment into the cortical bone tissue is of cylindrical shape, and has a diameter that is not smaller than the outside diameter of the thread on the lower portion.
