Abstract

A new type of catheter is presented with an adjustable front nozzle 1, at the same time with a balloon 4, primarily for dilation in vessels or other conduction pathways of the human or animal body. The catheter has a single lumen, which improves the width of the catheter opening along its entire length and is favorable for the passage of fluid and the transmission of pressure effects and pressure impulses. What is important is the adjustability of the front nozzle 1 by means of a conical closure body 9, connected to the rear by holding wire 8 until the nozzle 1 is completely closed, whereby this can also become the axis for shaft with fittings such as milling machine 14, which then also requires a more lateral front nozzle position For injections into the ducts of the body or suction of body fluids such as blood, which can contain detritus, scraped tissue material from stenosed arteriosclerotically altered vessel (s) even after the milling cutter has been used.
