Abstract

Abstract A method of producing dental prosthesis parts, especially cast fillings, partial or full crowns, works in the previously customary manner. In addition, the negative impression mould is coated with a metallic layer (6) before being filled with gypsum. The positive gypsum model of the natural tooth stump with the metallic layer (6) on the surface and the positive metal model (14) are erosively processed together in such a manner that material is removed from the contact surface (17) of the metal model (14), and that at the same time adaptation to the shape of the metallic layer (6) on the artificial tooth stump (9) is even more accurate. <IMAGE>
